Mrs.
Thomas grew up in Brooklyn, New York.
She attended two different high schools in
Brooklyn and and after
graduating, she moved
to Las Vegas to attend UNLV University of
Las Vegas.
While attenging UNLV, she
worked at their
Health Center. Then she decided to become
a teacher and obtained her bachelor Degree.
After
this, she became a student teacher at
Swainston Middle School for one summer, and
then she was hired at Western
High, As
American History Honors, Street Law, and an
after school class.
When Mrs. thomas is not
teaching she says,
"I like to find out historical things, anything that has to
do with history really intrests me. "
Mrs. Thomas is one of the many teachers at
Western and is eager to
teach her students
something new everyday.
